• You may notice your bill looks different this month – we have completed the switch to the new billing software. Unfortunately, we are still experiencing bugs with the new credit card processing system, and are unable to accept credit card payments at this time. It should be up and running shortly, but in the meantime, don’t worry! We will not be charging late fees if you are unable to pay your bill due to our software glitches.

Our Municipal Judge has been sworn in, and Court is in session. We are now writing tickets for code violations within the City limits. This includes a $25 fine for parking in the Sports Park without paying the $4 parking fee. Annual passes are available in City Hall for $20, or $10 if you are a senior citizen, veteran, or disabled. These fees help pay for the park upkeep.

• The doors to City Hall are currently closed, but we are available for business from 10am to 4pm – the drop slot is available 24 hours for utility payments. Call us for any other needs (541) 855-1525. Most forms are also available on our website.

• Gustaf and Fredenburg between 4th and 6th are looking good these days – thanks to Knife River for the wonderful paving job. Look for Estremado from 1st to 2nd to be done in the spring.

Ride the Rogue is a cycling event that happens on September 26. There will be lots of cyclers passing through Gold Hill that day, so our local businesses will receive a lot of exposure. If you’re interested in being a sponsor, or for more information, go to www.ridetherogue.org

• Our 2019 Consumer Confidence report for the Drinking Water System is now available on the website for your review. You can also obtain paper copies at City Hall.

If you’d like an announcement posted either in this newsletter or on the city website, please submit it by the 25th of the preceding month.
